At it Feels Good to be Green™, we believe that through recycling, reuse and repair, this earth of ours will have the chance to repair itself and continue to support the human race.
Recycling as a concept has been around for a very long time. Our ancestors would turn clothing into blankets and rugs. Flour sacks would be converted into dish towels. These concepts seem to have been lost by a great many.
“Mom, please do it for me”
These were the words that changed a life. The founder of it Feels Good to be Green™ at one time was one of the many who didn’t think twice about discarding a recyclable item in the trash. It took this request to recycle from her daughter to open her eyes and change her ways. She went from four full garbage cans of trash a week for her family of five to a half can of trash and a line of recycling tubs. The work involved in storing and sorting recyclable materials was the inspiration for the line of products currently offered. Standing at the curb and seeing the products that no longer would be wasted was the inspiration for the product name. It feels good to know the small effort required to recycle has a tremendously positive impact on our community and our planet. We believe that if we make it easy to get the product out of the trash and into the recycling process, more people will become active recyclers.
One person does make a difference. God gave us domain over the earth and we have a responsibility to be good stewards of this planet. Please join us in this quest.
